    What is a metal laser cutter?

    Metal laser cutter is a kind of laser cutting machine for metal sheets, metal plates, metal profiles, metal tubes and metal pipes, which is the best metal cutting solution for metal fabricators. Metal laser cutters are available for 2D/3D metal cutting projects in stainless steel, galvanized steel, carbon steel, mild steel, cold rolled steel, hot rolled steel, copper, brass, alloy, iron, silver , gold, titanium, aluminum, bronze .

    Stainless Steel:

    For the manufacturing industry dominated by stainless steel sheets, laser metal cutting is an efficient cutting method.  For the manufacturing industry that uses stainless steel sheets as a main component, laser cutting stainless steel is a fast and efficient cutting method. Important process parameters that affect the cutting quality of stainless steel are cutting speed, laser power, air pressure, etc.

    Carbon steel:

    The thickness of carbon steel plate laser cutting can be up to 70mm. The carbon steel slot cut by oxidation flux cutting mechanism can be controlled within a range of satisfactory width and the slot of the thin plate can be reduced to about 0.1 mm.

    Copper and alloys:

    pure copper has too high reflectivity, laser cutting of brass must use higher laser power, auxiliary gas using air or oxygen, can cut thinner plates. It have high reflectivity and very good thermal conductivity.  Otherwise the reflection will destroy the optical components.

    Aluminum and alloys:

    Although metal laser cutters can be widely used in processing various metallic and non-metallic materials, some materials. Such as copper, aluminum and their alloys, cause lasers due to some of their own characteristics (hig reflectivity). It is not easy to deal with.  This equipment performs well whether cutting aluminum or other materials.

    Nickel and alloys:

    These are all is high temperature alloys. Laser oxidized and flux cut is good cuts for many varieties.

    Titanium and alloys:

    Pure titanium can be coupled well with the thermal energy converted by the focused laser beam. When the auxiliary gas uses oxygen, the chemical reaction is violent and the cutting speed is fast. It is easy to form an oxide layer at the cutting edge, which may also cause overburning. Therefore, using air as an auxiliary gas can guarantee the cutting quality. Titanium alloys commonly used in aircraft manufacturing are best laser-cut.
