Each winter, northern lights in the impressive ice hotel in Quebec reserve themselves earlier and earlier, and I understand why! On the list of winter activities to do in Canada, this unmissable attraction, but oh so fleeting, around Quebec City has impressed me despite its ultra-touristy side. Let’s go for a tour of this lovely hotel, an ideal site for a romantic weekend in Quebec! Every year is different, but for the winter season of my first visit, the artisans of the Ice Hotel of Canada were inspired by the theme “The Gardens of the As you will see in the photos, the following year, the circus was honoured, with tightrope walkers, clowns, wacky characters, and even a tribute to the strong men.
Sleeping on ice on weekends in Quebec, what does it look like?
The tuque is definitely for an overnight stay at the Ice Hotel. I also advise you to bring some heat packs for your boots which will remain outside the sleeping bags. I did not receive the occurrence to inquire about the accommodation in this frozen paradise of St-Gabriel-de-Valcartier, very close to Quebec. How much does the Quebec City Ice Hotel cost?

My verdict on the Ice Hotel in Quebec?
A visit to the Quebec ice hotel imposes itself at least once in a lifetime, even though I might not pay every year to see it. The talent of the artisans to sculpt ice and snow, the construction of the vaults that support this frosted juggernaut, and the short side of this tourist site that is restarted each year against ever-changing weather in the province are all reasons to go there this winter if you’ve never been!
