    QuickBooks allow its used to merge up to four vendors at a time with much ease. This process involves certain steps and allows the user to consolidate all the transactions. It should be noted that the users are not required to enter the transactions over and over again, one after the other. This process deletes one vendor and at the same time, reassigns the entire relevant data to the other vendor. However, the steps performed can’t be reversed, so it is suggested to take the data backup before performing the steps.     Steps to merge vendors in QuickBooks Desktop 2019

    The steps might vary according to the version. Here are the steps to be performed for 2019 version.

    • The very first step here is to access the merge vendors window
    • After that, the user would see two alternatives, one for the QuickBooks desktop accountant edition that would require the user to head to the accountant menu and choose the client data review. Also, head to the merge vendors option
    • Another is for the QuickBooks enterprise users, that requires visiting the company menu and then opt for the accounting tools
    • Now, head to the merge vendors option
    • The user is now required to head to the merge vendors window and choose the vendors to be merged
    • Also, hit the next tab
    • The user is then required to choose the master vendor option and also click on merge option
    • The last step in the process is to click on the yes prompt and hit ok on the merge complete window
