    How to Control Cockroaches in Wooden Kitchen Racks?

    Cockroaches are so common in kitchen racks they are the most detested pests. Keeping them away is always a typical task; it is creepy when they roam around near your food. Cockroaches not only create an unhealthy environment but carries several diseases with them. Requires Getting rid of cockroaches from drawers, sinks and kitchen rack is a daunting task. But the worst part is, they cannot be removed easily, as we can never use harsh and poisonous chemicals near your food. The hazardous effects, if accidentally comes in contact with your food, can lead to death. A ubiquitous pest control session can do wonders in the kitchen, but it can cost much.

    So, today we are here to discuss the natural remedies to get rid of them; they are the most inexpensive ways that will be so effective while taking less time.

    Neem oil can be an effective way to say goodbye to Cockroaches

    Our nature has solutions to all the problems; we just need to seek what is best. After looking for some best options, natural pest comes out to be the neem oil. You need to mix neem oil and water and pour them into a plastic spray bottle. Spray them over your kitchen, like the sink, kitchen rack and cabinet. It helps to get rid of cockroaches and also acts as a disinfectant.

    Lemon Extract Is the Best Repellent

    You never have to squeeze the lemon in corners or walls. Just take a bucket full of water, and pack a lemon into it. Take a mob and move around the floor and shelves or cabinets. The acidic nature will prevent cockroaches enter the kitchen storage racks. The lingering aroma of lemon will leave a long-lasting impact.

    Another natural pest control- Essential Oils

    Essential oils are found to be the safest and most natural pest repellent. So that your kitchen is free from cockroaches, which makes you feel relaxed and leave a long-lasting aroma throughout the day. The essential oils available are tea tree oil, rosemary oil, cedar oil, cypress oil, eucalyptus oil and mint oil. Just make a mixture of whatever oil is available at home, pour it into a spray bottle and spray them all over. They are highly toxic for cockroaches but non-toxic for us to be used as a repellent.

    Perfect combination- Boric Acid and Sugar

    If you know it or not, sugar attracts cockroaches very much. But Boric acid will kill them permanently. So, pour Boric acid into sugar crystals; it will be a perfect trap for baby and giant cockroaches. Sprinkle the mixture on the floor, cabinets and shelves and places where cockroaches breed. A safety precaution to remember is that if you live with pets in the kitchen, then you should be mindful of using it.

    Keep the Area Dry

    If you know it or not, the most suitable environment for cockroaches to survive is the moist and humid environment. So, keep your kitchen dry as possible. Check your sink, leaky pipes and kitchen counter if they are found to be wet. Then, take a clean cloth, wipe them and keep them dry. Or you can take a small wiper to wipe all the water from the slab.
    One more thing to remember is that cockroaches can live without food for days but never without water. So, keeping kitchen storage racks dry can make them die in a few hours.

    Cinnamon and Natural Bay Leaves

    For small size of cockroaches, your spice box can act as a natural repellent beyond flavouring your meals. The Indian spices have the capability to disgust pests away from your kitchen racks wooden. Take some bay leaves, boil them and pour them into a bottle. Spray the concoction all over your kitchen, where cockroaches used to stay all around. A tip that this remedy works on baby cockroaches, leaving behind a mild and refreshing aroma of Indian spices.
    The cinnamon powder does wonder in keeping the cockroaches away. Sprinkle them in and around the kitchen stand so cockroaches cannot climb the sink, drawers and cabinets.

    Never Leave Unclean Dishes

    One of the reasons why cockroaches roam in the kitchen is due to the leftover food on slabs. Keeping unwashed utensils for long is dangerous; they walk in them and then reach near your fresh food, which affects the food quality. It requires deep cleaning of your kitchen storage racks; maintaining hygiene is a challenging task. But, it will keep you healthy throughout your life.

    Fabric Softeners are another Best Repellent

    Fabric softeners can be mixed in equal quantities with water; spraying them into various places where cockroaches thrive will keep them away to provide an instant kill.

    Your kitchen wall rack will be safer while using natural repellents. So, try them all, or at least one or two will get rid of cockroaches.
