    How to Contact Sellers on Amazon

    If you have a concern about a product, or you need to complain about an issue with your purchase, you need to know the best way and how to reach the Amazon seller. 

    For traditional brick and mortar stores, you won’t be able to contact directly the owner of a brand until you reach their office.

    Amazon can bridge this gap by letting customers directly communicate with them through their Amazon sellers. 

    For buyers, the ability to communicate with your seller and to communicate directly is a crucial advantage to shopping on Amazon.

    For sellers to it’s extremely beneficial to keep in touch with customers to solicit reviews and ratings on your products, solve any problems or just answer any queries from potential customers.

    We’ll go over 4 effective tips that can help you connect with sellers on Amazon.

    Contact the Seller Before Placing An Order

    If you’d like to talk to the seller before making your order, then the most effective method to do so is via the Amazon “Ask a question” feature that is available on the Seller’s pages. 

    To locate the page of a seller go to the product’s listing and look for the Buy Box. In the lower part of the Buy Box, it should be announced, “Ships From” and “Sold By.”

    If you are an FBA seller, the item will be delivered by Amazon however “Sold by” should be the actual seller.

    If you’re trying to find an alternative seller, look below the Buy Box and select “New and Used from” which will show different sellers who are selling the same item.

    All you need be doing is to click the name of the seller, and you’ll be taken to their account for sellers. When you’re there then click on the yellow “Ask a question” on the right-hand side of the screen.

    When the button is clicked, Amazon will pop up the new window of the Seller Messaging Assistant. The Assistant will assist in curating messages for the seller.

    If you have any questions about an item being sold or for purchase, you can contact the Messaging Assistant will provide you with several choices, including the product’s details such as return policy, shipping.

    Choose the topic of your message. Then, you will be asked to compose a message that includes all the necessary details.

    Buyer-Seller Message Center

    The best method of contacting a seller is via the amazon message Center. If you have contacted the seller before or following buying a product, your prior messages and conversations will be displayed within the Message Center!

    Contact the Seller After Placing an Order

    In certain situations, it is possible to reach out to a seller following the time you have placed or placed an order. 

    This could include asking follow-up questions, raising an issue with your product, or making modifications to your order. If that’s the case, reach out to the seller via your orders.

    Then you need to click on Orders in Your Account.

    Then, you will see the complete list of your prior orders. Locate the item you want to purchase and then look towards the right of the purchase. 

    You’ll see various choices. One of these choices should have the following words “Get help with order” or “Problem with the order.”

    Select the button that appears. You’ll be taken to a new webpage, and then asked to select an appropriate topic for your message. When you’ve selected an option, you can then choose the Contact Seller then send them an email.

    Connecting Through Seller Feedback

    Certain customers would like to interact with their sellers via giving feedback to sellers. This is a typical procedure for those who have received their goods but wish to give feedback to the seller regarding their experiences. 

    If you’d want to give your feedback to the seller, go to your account’s Orders section. Select the product and seller you wish to rate.

    On the left menu, there should be an option that says “Leave seller feedback”. If this option isn’t there, it likely indicates that it’s been more than 90 days since you bought the item and you cannot submit any reviews from sellers.

    When you hit “Leave seller feedback,” you will be taken to a form on which you will be able to see the seller, product, and a form to fill out. 

    The form will require an evaluation from the seller (1-5 stars) as well as a question regarding the product and a comment box where you can send any feedback that you wish to send to the seller.

    Once you are done, hit “Submit Feedback” and you have completed your task! The feedback of your seller, as well as the message, will be delivered via email to the seller.
