According to a survey conducted by the Airborne Law Enforcement Association (ALEA), 80% of law enforcement pilots reported that they had used drones in their law enforcement duties and 95% said they would recommend them to other law enforcement agencies.

Today, law enforcement agencies across the nation use law enforcement drones that are capable of conducting law enforcement duties, including:

    • search and rescue operations,
    • crime scene investigations ,
    • drug seizures, fugitive searches,
    • Crash scene documentation,
    • Fire/disaster assessments ,
    • Traffic crash investigations

    • Enforcement drones law enforcement.

Law enforcement agencies can use a drone for a number of reasons.

For example, law enforcement agencies might use law enforcement drones to survey large areas for crime scenes or suspects.

A law enforcement agency may also use a law enforcement drone to conduct surveillance on individuals suspected of committing crimes.

Since these law enforcement drones are capable of flying in place for hours at a time, they can be very effective tools in law enforcement.

A law enforcement agency that uses law enforcement drones should follow the specific requirements that apply to this kind of drone usage as stated by local laws and ordinances.

LinkedAll Aerial Solutions provide law enforcement officers with a functional, cost effective aerial surveillance solution that will benefit many law enforcement agencies.

Drones come equipped with a zoom camera and thermal imaging capability to assist law enforcement in a variety of situations including monitoring traffic collisions, manhunts, hostage standoffs, search and rescue missions and much more.

The law enforcement agency that uses law enforcement drones should also comply with federal guidelines .

For example, law enforcement agencies using law enforcement drones must file a public notice of this usage. Additionally, law enforcement agencies are required to document the use of law enforcement drones for at least 180 days.

These kinds of law enforcements may be used in many different ways. For instance, police might use law enforcements to locate suspects or missing individuals who wander off and lose their way.

A law enforcement agency could also use these flying robots to conduct surveillance on areas known for production or trafficking drugs.

Some law enforcements even have thermal imaging devices to survey an area through the night under darkness without detection by bad guys.

In law enforcement tasks such as rapid response, mapping of hostile environments, and scouting for dangers or hazards ahead.

Aerial robots can provide law enforcement officers with a small airborne platform that is versatile enough to perform a variety of actions.

Law Enforcement agencies are adopting the use of Aerial Drones to assist law enforcement officers during raids on buildings where hostages have been held by armed criminals.

In high risk hostage rescue missions law enforcement drones are being used as a scout tool to search for hidden suspects and hostages before law enforcement officers go “hands on” in any situation.

The law enforcement drone provides law enforcement agencies situational awareness from the air reducing the danger to law enforcement officers on the ground even more so if they have an effective way to work with autonomous law-enforcement drones.

In hostage rescue law-enforcement is relying more on law-enforcement drone technology.

It provides law enforcement agencies situational awareness in hostile environments especially buildings where criminals may be hiding in ambush points or behind barricades

Which law enforcement has identified during the surveillance efforts before going “hands on”.

The capabilities of a small aerial robot is just a force multiplier for law enforcements capabilities
