Who Is Leaving Days Of Our Lives: Leaving Days Of Our Lives also known as Days of our Lives or simply Days, is an American soap opera that airs on Peacock’s streaming service. It aired almost every weekday on NBC between 1965 and 2022.
The series is a co-production between Corday Productions, Sony Pictures Television and Betty Corday. Days of Our Lives was created by Ted Corday and Betty Corday.
Irna Phillips, creator of Another World and its former CB competitors, As the World r ns and Guiding Light, served as a story editor during the early days of the program. Many of the original storylines for the show were written by William J.
Bell would leave the series to concentrate full-time on The Young and the Restless in 1975. Days of Our Lives remained the only NBC soap opera after Passions was cancelled in 2007.
NBCUniversal announced on August 3, 2022 that the series would be relocated to its Peacock streaming platform beginning September 12, after 57 years of being on the network. This will make NBC the only Big Three network with no daytime serials.
The series is set in Illinois, in Salem, and primarily focuses upon two families: the Brady and Horton families. However, other families are highly represented, including the Kiriakis and DiMera families.
Frances Reid played Alice Horton, the matriarch of series’ Horton families. Her last appearance was in December 2007. Suzanne Rogers, who has been on the show since August 1973, is the longest-serving cast member and longest-serving cast member of any American soap opera.
Rogers was 40 years old when Days of Our Lives aired in 2013. Susan Seaforth Hayes, the second-longest-serving actor on Days of Our Lives, is the only cast member who has appeared on Days of Our Lives for all seven decades.
She made her debut on Days of Our Lives as a recast of Julie Olson’s original character in December 1968. Days of our Lives spoilers hint at more cast changes for the hit NBC soap opera as summer heats up.
Days fans are in for another mass exodus as more characters leave Salem. This happens occasionally, especially on NBC’s Days.The new year began with many fan favorites leaving Day of our Lives.
However, some of these characters like Lucas (Bryan Dattilo), Sami(Alison Sweeney), Eric (Greg Vaughan), and Eric (Greg Vaughan), have returned.This means that casting may end soon for both the recent and upcoming casts.

It’s not unusual for Days of our Lives to have high-profile cast members exit the hit show simultaneously. In the fall of 2020, several famous faces said goodbye to Salem.
Now, as 2022 kicks off, Days faces another loss of fan-favorite actors/actresses and characters. Let’s look at who is leaving Days and if they are gone for good or temporarily.
According to TV Line, the current 56th season’s production ended on April 16. Although no decision on a renewal has been made public, the publication reports that NBC and Sony Pictures Television are in talks about the show’s future. NBC did not respond to a request for comment.
Character Of Leaving Days Of Our Lives
Marci Miller (Abigail Deveraux)
Salem still struggles to recover from Abigail’s shocking death. Marci’s death was used by the writers to launch a who-dunnit murder mystery.
Abigail was killed because Marci, her portrayer, didn’t want anymore to be under contract. Kate Mansi, who also played Abigail was not available.
The writers decided to kill the character instead of limiting Billy Flynn’s (Chad) use for a longer time. It’s not a death sentence, but Abigail will be remembered.
Lucas Adams (Tripp Johnson)
Tripp saved Allie (Lindsay Arnold) by risking his life. The writers made Tripp leave the city. Given that Allie left him for Chanel (Raven Bowens), the character was in a bit of a stalemate.
Tripp will be appearing on Beyond Salem Season 2, even though he doesn’t serve a purpose on Days. Steve (Stephen Nichols), Kayla (Mary Beth Evans), and Tripp (Joey (Tanner Stine), will travel to Seattle with their siblings, Joey and Stephanie Klein.
Alison Sweeney
It could have been an insult. Sami, who had just learned — on Lucas’ wedding day! — that she had been kidnapped by her fiance, left Salem. She seemed to suggest that the hell would freeze over before Sami returns from Salem. Of course, her portrayer was more open to the possibility of a quick-term return.

The doctor is gone. Richard Wharton replaced the veteran actor, who has been playing Rolf, the DiMeras’ mad scientist go-to, since 1997.
Robert Scott Wilson
Although the lead man was cast as Ben on Days of Our Lives in the summer of 2022 by Ron Carlivati, Ron Carlivati, the head writer teased that we had yet to see the last of the actor from Salem.
Sal Stowers
The actress, who had been Lani for six years, decided to leave Salem in 2022. Fans were even more disappointed by her decision to leave Salem in the summer of 2022.

The doctor is out. Craig’s eyes were opened about Leo’s conniving affair with Nancy, Soap Opera Digest reported April 2022.
Greg Vaughan
Fans were thrilled to hear that Nicole’s husband was returning home for their anniversary. Even though Greg Vaughan and his handsome alter-ego appeared on screen in mid July 2021, it was announced that Eric was not in town for long enough to blow out their marriage.

We are so happy for “Xarah” that it has ended happily. Sarah Horton’s portrayer, on March 16, confirmed via Twitter that Sarah was leaving behind her character and “all 86 of her hairstyles.”
Mike Manning
We might get flashbacks for a couple of weeks, until we discover whodunit. Charlie Dale’s February 25 shooting brought an end to his successful portrayal of Ava’s son (bad), and Allie’s rapist, for all practical purposes.

All good things must end. We think so. Soap Opera Digest reported in November 2020 that Heather Lindell had wrapped up her second engagement as Jan Spears, an off-kilter role.
Melissa Reeves
Jaws fell in mid-September after Soap Opera Digest reported that the veteran cast member had left her role of Jennifer Horton. She was being replaced temporarily by Cady McClain, daytime MVP (most recently Kelly on The Young and the Restless).

We exclaimed “Oh!” when we heard that Eduardo Hernandez, a Santa Barbara alum, would be returning to Days of Our Lives. However, that excited “Oh!” soon became a sour-faced “Oh!” when we realized the character was being used only to bring his children off the screen.
Days of our Lives fans were hit yet again in July when Gabi’s character was announced that she would be leaving stage after a decade of pot-stirring. It was announced that Gabi would be returning to the stage so quickly, we wouldn’t even know she had left.

This Emmy winner, just seconds after Konefal announced her departure, admitted that he too was done at Days of our Lives. “It’s love I leave,” the actor who had been playing Eric Brady since 2012.
