Working Principle of Pneumatic Pinch Valve
A clamp valve is a resilient body valve with flexible tubing that can be pressed or “squeezed” mechanically through a mechanism or by liquid pressure to create complete closure of the flow path. The flow of the pneumatic hand valve is straight with no cracks or moving parts. The soft body of the pneumatic operated valve is able to seal around trapped solids. This feature makes the clamp valve ideal for slurry handling, food, and pharmaceutical applications.
Applications of Pneumatic Pressure Regulator:
Below are the industries where clamping valves are use are:
- Cement industry
- Plastic industry
- Pneumatic conveying industry
- Sewage Industry/Sewage Treatment Plant
- Ceramic industry
- Environmental industry
- Chemical industry
- Mining industry
- Measuring and weighing system
- Commercial vehicle industry
- Large and stable management industry, etc.
Clamp valve, also known as proportional air valve. Designed to control or shut off the flow of abrasives, granules, fibres or abrasives, the pneumatic operated valve finds wide applications as a separation or control valve for slurries, powders, emulsions, gaseous materials, powders, compressed air, granules, granules, etc.
Pneumatic Valve Working Principle:
The proportional electric valve consists of three main parts:
(i) the housing
(ii) the flexible rubber sleeve, and
(iii) the end fitting.
The rubber hose is mounted to the casing from inlet to outlet by means of a clamping mechanism. and it is the only component that will come into contact with the flow medium. Each end can be screwed, bolted, or threaded to provide support and connection.
The clamping mechanisms can be of various types. Single screw drive mechanism with only clamping on one side of the pipe or differential screw with two clamping mechanisms. A mechanical mechanism that uses air or hydraulic pressure to tighten the pipes is fine.
Under normal conditions, the holding valve is open. When air or hydraulic pressure is applied to the pneumatically operated valve it will push down on the elastomer boot. cause compression when the casing is tightened all the way Flow is limited and the valve is closed. The grommets on the holding valves have the ability to trap surrounding particles. which makes it great for closing.
When the external pressure is release the force of the flow medium and the reflective properties of the tire fully open the valve. This fully open pneumatic operated valve allows free flow of media preventing the valve from clogging. Because the media will only come into contact with the rubber hose. Therefore, the media are kept separate, which ensures that there is no contamination.
Clamp Valve Type:
Depending on the body structure, there are two types of holding valves:
Shut-off Valves:
Pneumatic operated valve are normally open-end without a metal sleeve. For visual inspection of valve body and body during operation, It adopts the open structure of clamping valve. This is the simplest design. But the coating must be in contact with the environment.
Shutoff Valve:
A closed shutoff valve looks like a globe valve from the outside. The shell is a protective cover for the lining. The clamping mechanism is inside the metal casing.
depending on the compression mechanism Clamp valves can be of the following types:
- Manual clamping pneumatic operated valve.
- Pneumatic clamping valve and
- Actuated clamping hydraulic proportional valve
Pinch Valve Sleeves:
The clamping valve sleeve can be of various types. including standard Double wall for sanding Tapered sleeve for throttling purposes and adjustable caps for best flow characteristics.
