The Harappan civilization dates back to as late as 6000 BC but, these two cities of Mohenjodaro and Harrapa emerged around the same time, around 2600 BC. This city also had the best plumbing system. The drains took the dump out of the city to the dumping grounds. Researchers found Potteries and lavish jewellery made by the people and also found some ancient makeup products.
Rohtas Fort
This fort is an example of military excellence. It dates back to 1541, and its construction began under the reign of Sher Shah Suri. This fort occupies about 70 hectares of land and is considered to be one of the largest forts of south Asia.
Wazir Khan Mosque
This mosque was built in the reign of Mughal emperor Shah Jahan. This mosque is a great example of Mughal architecture. Its tiles are so Exquisite that you can admire them for hours. This mosque is inside the walled city of Lahore and is a few hundred meters from the Delhi gate.
The Lahore Fort
This fort is believed to have been inhabited for over a Millenium, it had to be entirely rebuilt in the 17th century. Some of its well known and beautiful designs were built u der the Mughal emperor Jahangir. The room of mirrors “Sheesh Mahal” is a room of marbles with complex, high-quality mirrors. This fort spreads over an area of 20 hectares.
